On the 21st of January there was a vibe of excitement in the SRAM facility in Schweinfurt, Germany. The staff of the facility had laid on a fantastic behind the scenes tour for perhaps the luckiest man of the year! When Stéphane from Brittany chose his riders for the 2013 Tipping game by ENDURO, little did he know that 8 months later he would be driving to collect his prize, one of the sexiest bikes currently available, the Specialized S-Works Enduro with SRAM Super Build Kit!

Stéphane literally grinned for the entire 11 hour drive to Schweinfurt from his home town of Brittany, eager to check out his prize. And to make it even better, SRAM had laid on the full red carpet treatment! SRAM Showed Stéphane and his father around the facility, checking out all the new developments and projects, before giving his new bike a pro personal setup. The smile on Stéphanes face says it all, and we are sure he will love hitting the trails on his new ride!

Here is his letter that we just received:

Hi Robin,

A few words to thank you about what happened yesterday.
First of all Thank you for the warm welcome my dad and I received from everybody at SRAM. The tour of the SRAM facilities was awesome, we learnt a lot, and my eyes are still burning with all these wonderful bikes and parts.
And that truck…Amazing.

Now that the bike is home I spend time watching it in every corner, and I realize how lucky I am. I told my wife this morning “look at the wheels…oh and the fork, the rear shock. Do you see the crankset…” and so on. THE machine. I hope I will be able to honour it in the best way.

And Thank YOU and the Enduro MTB Mag team for this honour.

So many great memories.

It was awesome!

Looking forward to the next issue now!!

Please tell everybody at SRAM and the magazine how thankful I am.

Cheers, Stéphane

PS: the photos will follow as soon as I am able to shred the trails.

Is this the luckiest man of last season!

Enjoy that bike Stéphane and we will see you on the trails. Look out for news of the 2014 Tipping Game by ENDURO, where you too could be lucky!

Congratulations from all The ENDURO team!
