Update: Some good news from the world of enduro
There has been a lot of good news in the world of enduro this week, here are a few of the highlights.
Fabien Barel back on a bike.
Great news from Fabien Barel, after a terrifying back injury in Chile at the start of the season, it looks like he is well on the road to recovery. He states “After 5 months off the bike, it was my first ride today. Only 45 minutes on the road but it felt like an epic MTB ride.” The ENDURO magazine team are delighted to see him back on the pedals again and wish him a continued safe recovery.
Jerome is back
In a continuing theme, Jerome Clementz is also fit and back upto speed. His shoulder seems to have recovered well, and he took a confident victory at his return to racing in Nauders for the European Enduro Series. The final in Finale will now be an exciting match, with Jerome sure to be hungry for a win!
CousCous ties the knot
UR team owner Fabien Cousinié had a great ride to 5th place in the Air DH in Whistler and if that wasn’t enough he even proposed to his girlfriend Magalie in the finish arena dressed with a shirt and bow tie! Of course she said yes and this topped off this great day of racing.
