We’ve compiled a list of some of the raddest products that you’ll just love to take home. From a should-be illegal it’s so sexy Yeti SB6C, to the tubeless converting god, the Bontrager TLR Flash Charger. Get your wallet out, because some of these are absolutely awesome!
HOPE CRANKS
If you ride hard, or have legs like mighty pistons, you are going to need some burly cranks. Beautifully machined from 7000 series alloy, the Hope Cranks are as tough as they come and offer a unique expanding spline axle/arm interface to ensure a perfect fit every time. Weighing in at 641g for the spiderless version, and available in lots of configurations, they are the perfect choice for those who like smash the power down.
The new Yeti SB6c is so sexy it should certainly be illegal, and we have one on the Long Term Test fleet. With Fox suspension and a SRAM drivetrain, it’s race ready right out of the box. The new Switch Infinity suspension offers up so much grip you can ride it like a total lunatic and still smash your personal bests to pieces. When it comes to tight turns, the SB6c leaps out of corners like a startled rabbit, and will happily take you to ridiculous speeds. It’s like wiring your underpants to the mains – electrifying.
Everyone knows that looking cool will make you ride faster, and there is nothing cooler than these new Adidas Evil Eye Evo Pro glasses. When you’re shredding hard and the mud is flying, you need to look after your eyes, and perhaps no other glasses offer the same level of coverage as the Evil Eyes. The huge lenses are almost goggle-like in their field of view, and the hydrophobic coating stops the crap and spray from spoiling your fun. Even when you’re ‘full gas’ through the trees, the high-quality optics keep it all pin sharp – enjoy life in HD!
It’s no secret that flat pedals with no grip are about as much use as an ejector seat in a helicopter. Luckily, the new Reverse Black ONE Titan Pedals are as grippy as they come. The forty alloy pins will keep your feet firmly planted – even when you do something really stupid. And at only 244g per pair, they are ridiculously light, too. If you have deep pockets, these titanium-axled pedals will add a massive dose of ‘Badass’ to your ride.
Have you ever tried to seat a tubeless tyre that just will not bead? Annoying, isn’t it? In fact, it may just be one of the most frustrating tasks known to man. However, Bontrager have a solution: the new TLR Flash Charger. This pump has an additional high pressure reservoir that can be pre-charged up to 160psi before delivering a rapid blast of air that will seat the most stubborn of tubeless tyres. Say goodbye to A-grade swear words in the workshop, frayed nerves, and sealant all over the place. Move over expensive compressors – there’s a new king in town.
Riding with a heavy pack is an essential part of big mountain riding; it’s all great fun until it tries to throw you into the bushes! If you want to rid yourself of the dancing monkey on your back, the innovative new harness on the USWE F4 PRO pack promises to do just that. The four-point suspension harness keeps even the heaviest loads well secured to your back, and does so without the need for a restrictive waist strap.
