There was a lot of excitement at the Mondraker stand at this years Eurobike, not only had the entire range been reworked with bold new colour schemes, but there was also an interesting new bike on the stands. The new Mondraker Crafty, combining their iconic forward geometry system with 29 inch wheels.

The new Mondraker Crafty 29er retails for a very reasonable €2699.

The Crafty has 130mm travel in the rear and 150mm up front, long top tubes (595mm, 630mm, 660mm and 690mm in S,M,L,XL respectively), which combined with a 68.5 (68 on the XR) degree head angle should be a 29er with attitude. Designed for shredding trails fast, the forward geometry will allow riders to enjoy more grip, stability and control over the front wheel, without resorting to super slack head angles. The Crafty is also excellent value, the base model, with a Fox fork and 2×10 SRAM X9 Drivetrain, retails for just €2699. The top end Crafy XR in Blue/Orange, comes fitted as standard with a RockShox Pike fork and 1×11 XO1 drivetrain for €4349.

Featuring Mondrakers innovative forward geometry and fitted with a 30mm stem (20mm and 10mm are available as an option).
