Alpina Rootage Enduro Helmet

Is it really an Alpina helmet? The Rootage is a true aesthetic statement!

At EUROBIKE Alpina presented an entirely new enduro helmet, the Rootage. The first thing you will notice are the carbon plates on the outer shell. These are meant to offer maximum protection with little weight whilst the edges of the helmet are protected by a ceramic shell. Also the shape of the Rootage clearly differentiates from previous Alpina models; aesthetically, the Rootage is a huge improvement for Alpina. Not only is it built to look good and protect, but also offers loads of comfort in terms of fit and ventilation. With the antibacterial and washable pads and the new filigree adjustment mechanism, the new Alpina flagship backpack offers far more than just a carbon lid. Last but not least, Alpina optimised their Rootage for use with goggles, perhaps the brand-own Smash 2.0 R? The Alpina Rootage will be available from march 2018 and will cost € 169.95.

Not only do the carbon plates give an extra aesthetic-touch, but also enhance the helmet’s protection efficiency.
The Alpina Rootage is fully google-compatible and the visor can be fully lifted when not needed.
An old acquaintance celebrates its anniversary: over a million Alpina Mythos were sold worldwide.

Alpina Twist Five

The popular Twist-Series goes into its fifth release-round and comes with many detailed improvements.

For over ten years the Alpina Twist-Series has been one of the most popular sports sun glasses in its category. EUROBIKE was the perfect occasion to introduce the newest generation of the Alpina classic, the Twist Five. The Twist Five comes in a full frame version, with a shield and a half-frame version with two different widths. In terms of lens technology, the highlight is definitely the new QuattroVario ex. Polarised lenses are meant to increase vision contrast, filter out unwanted reflexions and automatically adapt their tint to the existing light conditions. Anti-fog and hydrophobic (water-repellant) coatings round off the package and are the perfect features to make the new Twist Five an all-purpose weapon. Thanks to adjustable nose pads and temples the Twist Five should easily adapt to any face. The price ranges from € 79.95 to € 179.95.

The QuattroVario ex lenses are the top end of the line-up.
