Juliana Joplin Updated for 2017

The new Joplin completely defines its own niche when it comes to being a high-end option for women who want a bigger wheel trail bike. The new CC carbon frame offers all the same great updated engineering and geometry traits of the new Tallboy, but offers a new ‘light’ suspension tune that enables a plusher ride straight out of the gate. And the Juli Furtado-tested anatomical saddle keeps things cusher too.
Low standover heights are always under scrutiny, and we deliver a benchmark in that territory in both 29 or 27.5+ configuration. Every size has experienced a reduction over the previous generation, with the large size now a full 30mm lower than before. Our design team dreamed up the Ultraviolet paint job and matching grips as finishing touches to ensure the Juliana line continues to remain bold, unique, and unmistakable on the trail.
Geometry Updated on the New Juliana Joplin
The Juliana has been given a raft of updates to its geometry starting with a lower Standover Height, 10-30mm depending on frame size with optimum maneuverability for riders of all sizes. A – 2.2 degrees slacker head angle has given more stable handling whilst a longer Reach by 40-50mm depending on frame size creates a roomier front/center. 11mm shorter chainstays than the prior, (17”/432mm) results in snappier handling, whilst a shorter 30mm shorter seat tube has given a better standover and dropper compatibility. A steeper Seat Tube Angle, by 0.6-degrees gives a better pedaling position.
General Updates on the New Juliana Joplin
A big plus on the new Joplin is a suspension tune which is now more accommodating for lighter riders, which combined with a higher initial leverage for better small bump compliance, a flatter suspension curve for more consistent feel through travel and a more progressive tune which resists bottom out, has given the Joplin a substantial suspension overhaul. An update to geometry, the ability to switch between 29 or 27.5+ and 10mm more travel means the bike is more capable than ever before.
Stiffing the fork chassis, going from a Fox 32 up to a 34 and utilizing grippier Maxxis tires has given greater trail handling whilst dropper posts increase usability of the bikes.
The Joplin has a lifetime warranty on both the frame and it’s bearing, there is a also a crash replacement scheme helping you to stay on the trails no matter what happens. Featuring a custom ‘light’ suspension tune for a plusher feel and a low standover height for optimum maneuverability, add into that a Juliana anatomical women’s saddle and you have an all new level of comfort.
