We love hearing about riding in new and exciting locations! Trail and enduro riding has spread all over the globe, and looking at these photos, it is clear that it is very popular in Indonesia! Here is a quick trail report from the Puncak Bike Park in Jawa Barat.

Puncak is a mountain area located in West Java, near the capital city,Jakarta, and bandung. Its breezy, full of fresh air and beautiful views that you cant find in the big cities. It has become one of the popular destinations for Mountain Bikers to visit, especially for those who live nearby in Jakarta, Bogor and Bandung. Popular with local mountain bikers due to its many excellent mountain biking trails. If the road traffic is good and there are no traffic jams (rarely), it can be reached in just 2 hours from Jakarta.

In the morning, Mountain biking friends meet up at Rindu Alam MTB Post, to enjoy a delicious breakfast at Warung Mang Ade.

From Gunung Mas, there are many excellent tracks to choose from; Rindu Alam Classic and Extension, or NuRa (new rindu alam and extension).. all are very fun trails! Other options would be the trails dropping down from Telaga Warna, providing many options that are all gravity, starting from TW classic, TW2, TW3, TW4, TW5 and so on..

My friends and I from Lifestyles Bikers enjoy biking in Puncak at least 2-3 times a week, it is the nearest mountain biking destination with many challenging tracks, and at the same time, offers fresh and beautiful surroundings. There are still a lot more trails to be explored in West Java, such as Cikole, Garut, Palasari, Cirata, etc. Each with their own unique and different character. And let us not forget Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, Bali, Sumatera, Kalimantan and Sulawesi!
