With such huge shoes to fill, the latest Canyon Spectral was never going to have it easy. Its predecessor was extremely popular, smugly claiming the top spot in several earlier group tests. Fortunately, the new-and-improved Spectral lives up to expectations with a series of well-thought-out revisions.

Best value: YT JEFFSY 29 AL Comp
The YT JEFFSY 29 AL Comp is the defending champion in this group test, securing both the coveted Best in Test and Best Value titles last year. For the new season, YT kept revisions down to a minimum and just switched out the drivetrain, but the YT JEFFSY is still one of the best bikes available!
