Big Mountain Enduro opens registration – January 15
Big Mountain Enduro is opening registration for the Big Mountain Enduro Series and the Crested Butte Ultra Enduro next Wednesday, January 15.
The Crested Butte Ultra Enduro will open for registration at 6 p.m. MST on January 15. This event will be a stand alone event and not part of the Big Mountain Enduro Series standings. The Crested Butte Ultra Enduro is limited to 200 participants.
With five days of enduro racing in the backcountry for $585, the Crested Butte Ultra Enduro will include shuttles each backcountry day, lift ticket on final day, breakfast and lunch provided each day, coffee and beer provided each day by respective sponsors, event T-shirt, awards ceremony, and an adventure experience of a lifetime on some of the best trails in the country. Lodging and camping packages will also be made available.
Registration for Snowmass, Keystone and Moab will be made available on January 15 at 8 a.m MST The fourth “TBD” event in the Big Mountain Enduro Series will open at a later date and information announced within the next few weeks.
June 21-22: Snowmass, CO: $165 (limited to 300 participants)
June 28-29: TBD, CO: $195 (limited to 250 participants)
July 12-13: Keystone, CO: $175 (limited to 300 participants)
August 23: Moab, UT: $175 (limited to 250 participants)
“Our online registration partner is imATHLETE, and we highly recommend participants visit www.imathlete.com ahead of time to set up their account to make registration as seamless as possible next week,” said Sarah Rawley, Big Mountain Enduro public relations.
Big Mountain Enduro will also be offering multi-event discounts, instead of a Season Pass, so participants can get discounts on signing up for 2, 3 or 4 events, with 7%, 12% and 17% discounts respectively. To redeem the largest discount, participants should sign up for Snowmass, Keystone and Moab at once to receive 12% off all three events in the cart. When the fourth event is released, participants can sign up for it separately and receive 17% off the last event.
All Big Mountain Enduro events are capped this year. As soon as an event sells out, imATHLETE automatically creates a wait list. Participants do not have to pay anything to be placed on the wait list, however once a spot becomes available, they will be promoted to complete the registration process. Confirmation of entry will not be final until the registration process has been complete and any additional fees are paid.
“Big Mountain Enduro would like to thank its 2013 participants by offering early registration January 13-14,” said Brandon Ontiveros, Big Mountain Enduro executive director. “Only 50 percent of the entries will be made available for early registration. Past participants should check their email for the invitation code this week.”
