Eurobike 2013: New Smith Enduro Helmet
Smith, who have been doing eye wear for over 50 years now, have ventured into the MTB helmet world with this sweet looking Enduro style helmet. The technology gone into this Star Wars Storm Trooper looking lid really is quite different.
Inside their helmet they have nice narrow minimal pads, so no mass of sweat being soaked up like other makes, plus the inside is lined with some weird honeycomb effect plastic, for crash protection and great airflow. Also a funky little extra to this helmet is a screw hole on top for fixing helmet mounted cameras, great idea. The weight is 285 grammes and price will be around 230 euros.
