American brand Corsair are back with a new distributor in the UK, Resurrection Cycle Products, and a new enduro bike ready to share with the world. I sought out their booth at Eurobike to see what this American company, more often known for bikes capable of the Redbull Rampage, had to offer the enduro market. Corsair have been producing frames aimed at demanding trail and gravity orientated riders since 2007, with the new addition of the Revo to the range they are aiming to take a further chunk of the aggressive trail market.

Corsair’s answer to the 27.5″ enduro bike market is the Revo, a linkage driven single pivot machine, aiming to keep things simple. Geometry wise, with a 160mm fork up fron the Revo has a headangle of 66 degrees and chainstay lengths of 435mm, a good basis for any all mountain bike we reckon.

Other important figures for the bike also show its predilection for gravity fed trail riding without compromising on the up hills with a fairly average top tube length of 606mm and a wheel base of 1172mm on the medium sized frame running the suggested length forks. Corsair state they designed the bike for all day trail sessions, a bike made for sending up hills, down them and then repeat!

-The market is demanding it all these days a design based around being good uphill and down.

Aesthetically the Corsair Revo appears to be a sleek machine, its graphics are contemporary and it will be available in this blue and also stirking black/orange colourway. At the moment the bike will be available as a frameset only, costing you £1500 complete with a Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3.

It’s always interesting to see newcomers to the market, we will be waiting to get our hands on one and see how she rides!
