Hiding in the corner on the Nukeproof stand was an exciting new range of wheels, named the Generator Carbons. It seems like every manufacturer has a new carbon rim out this year, but the cool thing about the Generators is they did not share the same €2000+ price tag.

These wheels had literally just arrived with Nukeproof so details were scarce, but we can tell you that they use 28 spokes, are available in 27.5″ (there may be a 29 inch model on the way), and have a 25 mm internal rim width. The wheels will be available in the non-boost standard (Nukeproof do not have any boost bikes) and will use Novatech hubs. The wheels will retail for €1199.99, which is by no means cheap, but drastically undercuts most of the competition. We will bring you more details as soon as they are officially announced.
