European Enduro Series 2015 | Rocking the dusty trails in Sölden
This weekend, on the 4th and 5th of July, the European Enduro Series continues in the heart of Sölden, Austria. Today was the first mandatory practice day, culminating with an exciting prologue. The mountain weather was perfect and racers were excited to get started.
Ines Thoma (GER) and Nico Lau (FRA) were way in front of their competitors in the Elite class at today’s prologue in the dusty, shimmering heat of the Ötztal Alps. Two other German riders, Lisa Policzka and Stephanie Frankl were close in on Thoma in the Women Elite class. Gustav Wildhaber (SUI) and Robert Williams (GBR) were hard on Lau’s heels. The newly built Teäre Line was the venue for the prologue and will also be part of the race tomorrow. The gleaming heat, the scenic trails and the highly motivated riders promise tomorrow´s race to be challenging and one of a kind. Find the pictures of a great first day in Sölden below.
