On October 6th, the Mountain Club Vésubien hosted the eagerly anticipated seventh and final round of the 2013 Urge 1001 Enduro Tour! The 172 riders participating in the Enduro du Trèfle Vésubien enjoyed the impressive landscapes of the High Vésubie alpine trails and were bathed in beautiful autumnal colours

For the final event the organisers went all out, proving three alpine stages, urban special stages and challenging technical trails, they even brought the sun! Between La Colmiane and Venanson, it was Remy Absalon, Olivier Nicolai Giordanengo and Florian Nicolaï who were fighting for the win! In the women’s race Morgane Jonnier and Nadine Sapin were battling it out over the roots, stones and streets of Vésubie Valley. After a hard race it was Remy Absalon and Morgane Jonnier who took the wins.

After eight months of tough competition, the Enduro du Trèfle Vésubien was the perfect end to the 1001 Enduro Tour. Florian Nicolai won his second overall title, with Dimitri Tordo in 2nd and François Dola in 3rd. Morgane Jonnier dethroned the five times champion Nadine Sapin (finished 2nd) and took the overall win, and Sabine Cruvellier completes the podium in 3rd. In the category podiums the winners were Gaetan Vige (cadet), Valentin Escriou (junior), Florian Nicolai (senior), Medhi Gabrillargues (master30), François Dola (master40) and Theo Bertarini (master50).
