The portuguese athlete, Marco Fidalgo representing the colors of Berg Cycles brand is becoming a well known face on the enduro circuit. Known for his professionalism and sportsmanship, the Portuguese international athlete is growing stronger after every competition.

The team was busy this year, racing at the french events of Val d’Allos, Les 2 Alpes and Val D’Isere as well as Italy’s awesome Sauze D’Oulx SuperEnduro. With a dynamic approach, the Berg Cycles Factory Team analysed each race, worked to solve any mistakes and continuously developed the bikes with the team to make the elusive difference in these competitions, each receiving on average between 500-700 professional athletes.

Team Berg Cycles Factory Team was present in Tolfa, Italy, racing in the prestigious SuperEnduro. With logistics and support from team Bici Da Montagna the Portuguese international athlete Marco Fidalgo was consistent and strong over the 40 kms, which included four hard and demanding special stages! Marco achieved two podiums, with a victory in terms of class (S5) and another in the overall standings where he was 2nd behind the French Karim Amour who won this competition.

“I’m very happy because Berg Cycles has worked long and hard, evolving our strategy and as the difficulties have grown, we have grown humbly too. It is also safe to say that we are becoming more consistent we have been changing certain technical characteristics. I have a good feeling on the future. I also want to leave a word of appreciation to the guys over at team Bici Montagna who helped me a lot in Italy.” said Marco Fidalgo.

After the SuperEnduro in Tolfa, Italy, Marco Fidalgo and his staff have continued to work intensely, present in Figueira da Foz at the National Enduro Championship. Marco enjoyed the opportunity to train and compete with the national elite of the sport and having finished the competition in 8th position in his class (GREEN 2) was happy with the result.
