News: BMC presents the new Speedfox and up-dates the Trailfox

There was always a slight gap in the BMC range, a bike to fall between the 100mm Fourstroke and the big hitting Enduro Trailfox (150mm). This gap has now been closed with the 130mm Speedfox. The bike combines good climbing capabilities with fine downhill performance.

BMC will offer a total of seven models of the Speedfox at prices between €1999 and €6999 EUR. Like other full suspension bikes the 130mm model focuses on the well-known APS suspension system with virtual pivot point. The model comes with a complete carbon frame, or a carbon front end with an aluminium rear (SF 02) or a complete aluminium frame (SF 03).
The Speedfox’s geometry is tailored to the 29″ wheels and should offer precise handling. 435mm short chain stays add up to an agile ride, while the long top tube ensures stable handling. The Speedfox will be available in five sizes.

Next to the complete up-date of the Speedfox, BMC introduced an especially interesting version of the Trailfox – the BMC Trailfox TF02 X01. The bike with a carbon frame and aluminium rear comes with top end drive train and a RockShox Pike fork, as well as a Cane Creek Double Barrel CS damper.
The rest of the equipment is just as impressive.
