Spotted at Sea Otter: New Felt Compulsion Enduro Bike
While walking around the Sea Otter Festival, again we spotted another hot new bike for the 2015 season – the new Felt Compulsion. The new bike has been given a complete overhaul, with 160mm of travel (front and rear) and 27.5″ wheels, and it will be the machine of choice for the newly founded Enduro Team [we reported]. This will likely be a popular bike, and we are sure to see it in action at key races soon.
The popular Compulsion line has been completely redesigned from Felt and now comes with 27.5″ wheels. With a new modern geometry featuring a slacker steering angle, from 67.5 ° to 66.0°, and with an additional 10mm more travel on the rear, the bike has been tuned to offer a better downhill performance. The short, 436mm chainstays already promise (on paper) agile and nimble handling.
Geometry
The bike will be available in four different sizes from S (16 “) to XL (22”) and have the following geometry:

Spec:
Details of specification are still unclear, but the Compulsion 10 model, will be equipped with a RockShox Pike RC fork, a 1×11 SRAM X01 Drivetrain and WTB wheels. The Schwalbe tire combination consists of a Hans Dampf in front and a Rock Razor on the rear wheel, the perfect choice for rocky American tracks. The price will range between $4999 and $5499.
The new Felt Compulsion will be available in early 2015.
