Spyhots: New 650B / 29er carbon rim by DT swiss for enduro
After SRAM having presented the ROAM recently, a lightweight carbon enduro-wheelset (as reported), it seems that the specialists from DT Swiss are working in this direction too. Mounted on a Santa Cruz Tallboy LT at the Bike Festival in Riva we discovered a new carbon trail / enduro rim.
The rim features an inner-width of 21.5mm and will be available in both sizes 27.5″ and 29″. As the Assembly on the 140mm Santa Cruz suggests, it is designed for trail and performance-oriented enduro use. Weight and other specs aren’t unveiled yet – however, it is rumored that the rim will officialy be presented at this years Eurobike exhibition.
