After the success of the 2013 season over here in the UK, Steve Parr (director of UKGE) has just announced the dates for the 2014 race schedule, but with an added first ever National Champs one-off date. As before there are 5 rounds that will all count towards the overall points series, plus that of the National Championship race.

Round 2 10th-11th May

National Champs (TBC) 31st May-1st June

Now this is the important bit worth remembering!

Steve Parr on the National Champs date- “Yes we know this clashes with EWS at Tweedlove, I sent the EWS our dates at the start of July and had no reply informing us they were coming to the UK and no dates were returned!

The other 5 rounds will be spread out across the UK as usual, we are also working on new venues, not used before in series. All 5 rounds are also to count again.

The media hype and rider enthusiasm for Enduro is helping us to obtain some great sponsorship for 2014, will keep you posted as and when”DSC_0981

So this may cause some concern for those wanting to go for that National Champs Jersey but want to compete in just one EWS round, decisions, decisions! Enduro Mag’s UK Editor Jim Buchanan and excellent photographer Doc Ward, shall both be fully committed to covering the 2014 UKGE series, with Jim *AND DOC* racing in and reporting on all events of this massively growing race series.
