With a changeable forecast and blind stages, nobody really knew what conditions to expect from the Highland Perthshire Dunkeld Enduro. This was Scotland, of course, so mud would certainly feature at some point – but with brand new stages and no practice allowed, tyre choice was certainly tricky.

The event had certainly drawn a big crowd, with a start list featuring enduro first timers, keen local racers, Enduro World Series contenders and many elite world cup downhillers – it was going to be a great race. We checked in with 24 random riders to find out what rubber they had chosen to run for the unknown stages.
