E*thirteen-TRS-Dropper-Post-1

The market is now crammed with dropper seatposts, but we were stoked to see E*thirteen’s display at EUROBIKE, with their own model promising reliability, simplicity when it comes to servicing and a very fair price. The TRS+ seatpost has 150 mm of adjustment, four different positions and weighs in at 590 g. Together with the well-designed lever, you’ll be expected to hand € 299 to the sales staff.

SRAM NX groupset

SRAM-NX-Groupset-1

Sacrificing a front mech not only leads to a better shifting performance and less wear and tear, but it also allows bike brands to design even better frames. With the NX groupset, SRAM have created a price-point product that delivers all the advantages of 1×11 without asking for a second mortgage. The price: € 370.

Hope Technology 35W rims

Hope Technology 35 mm rim-1573

Hope have introduced a new 35 mm (internal) wide 6061 aluminium rim to keep up with the new trend for wider rims. By re-profiling the rim to a single cavity, these are only marginally heavier at 580 g than the current 23 mm Hope Tech Enduro rim. The eyeletted rim will be available from November in 27.5″ and will accept tires from 2.3 – 3.0″. Prices are still to be confirmed but they shouldn’t stray too far from the current Hope Tech Enduro wheelset, making them very affordable.
