Santa Cruz Bronson Aluminium

The Californian cult brand and their dreamy high-end carbon bikes used to be the hallowed playground of those with sufficiently deep pockets, but now Santa Cruz have released three success stories in aluminium, seeing the Bronson, 5010 and the Tallboy offering the exact same geometry and ride kinematics as their carbon counterparts but at a much more budget-friendly price. Parents, lock your daughters up – these bikes command attention!

Propain Tyee

Propain Tyee Alu-1

Propain have given the Tyee a full going-over, flushing it with a longer frame, shorter chainstays, a Boost standard rear hub and a metric-sized rear shock. The geometry is a direct match for the carbon Tyee CF model. The only constant with the Tyee is its price – and that remains as good as ever.

Norco Fluid FS 7.2+

Norco-Fluid-1

The Fluid FS 7.2+ is Norco’s latest contribution to the trail bike market, seeing them design a plus-size trail whip at a very respectable price that’s kitted out with a dropper post, 1×10 drivetrain and wide 2.8″ tires. For an extra € 400, cast your eyes over the top-of-the-range rig that comes with a 1×11 drivetrain. Tearing up the trails has never come this cheap!
