“I really cannot believe it!” said Maria when we asked her how she felt when she got the message that she won the Rotwild X1. She was the lucky winner, randomly picked from over 10,000 participants in the ENDURO reader survey, of the dream bike from Rotwild. We met her in Dieburg to visit the company and give her the bike.
Maria has a good laugh, she won the impressive Rotwild X1 – of course in the right frame size!
Just a few days after the notification of the winners of our reader survey poll we have received an answer from almost every victorious participant. Only the winner of the Rotwild X1 was missing, almost two weeks after the draw we still had no trace. All contact attempts failed, because Maria was, at this time, on a three week holiday trip with her boyfriend without a phone or internet connection.
Her joy was all the greater as she landed at night in Munich and discovered the winning notification in her e-mail account. Now a few days later we arranged to meet her in Dieburg to take a look behind the scenes of Rotwild and give her the brand new X1.
Before she could hold her prize in hands, Maria and her boyfriend got a tour through the hallowed halls of Rotwild .Marketing Manager Ole welcomed the lucky winner.Rotwild P1: The first prototype of Dieburg decreed in 1996 by a belt drive, an electronic shifting-system and a fork with carbon fork stanchions.Behind the brand Rotwild is the company ADP-engineering. For over a year, Maria has been riding the trails of the Black Forest. So far only on the old hardtail of her sister. For the next season, the investment in her own bike was planed anyway. “This money will be spent directly on a holiday in South Tyrol.” reported her boyfriend who is looking forward to some sunny days in the Dolomites.
