Reverse Mudguards

Once just a crafty quick-fix for a mechanic on the World Cup circuit, these little mudguards have cemented their place in the bike world. Fixed onto the fork bridge, these are the ultimate method to protect you from mud splatter at the front. Plus, the Reverse Mudguards are great for splashing some colour on your bike. Coming in a vast array of cool styles, they cash in at a very economical € 6.90.

Crankbrothers Mallet E 11 and Mallet E LS

It didn’t take long for the Crankbrothers Mallet E to become one of the market’s most popular pedals, and it has now been joined by two more models from the Americans. Using a significant amount of titanium for the binding, the Mallet E11 is super lightweight at just 385 g. Then there’s the Mallet E LS, whose design features a wider axle to keep a bigger gap between the pedal and the cranks, rendering it a hit with bigger-footed riders. These retail at € 165.

Mavic Deemax Pro shoe

Alongside performance, Mavic aspired to create long-lasting shoes that wouldn’t let you down in a crisis. They consequently got rid of the common ratchet closure system, and went for regular laces and a wide Velcro strap. When compared to their Crossmax XL Pro, the Deemax Pro has a more flexible sole for increased comfort. The sole offers a decent and grippy tread for those parts when you’re forced off the bike. The Deemax Pro can populate your wardrobe for € 180.

Coming in either bold yellow or stealthy black, this is the new Mavic Deemax Pro.
