First Look | Corratec Presents the InsideLink 10Hz 175 Endurobike
Corratec presented the InsideLink 10Hz 175 enduro bike at the Eurobike Media Days 2015 for the first time, with it, the traditional company hopes to establish itself in the enduro sector. Like their existing models the bike features their 10Hz system, whereby a MDU-elastomer adds additional rider comfort.
The InsideLink 10Hz 175 offers 160mm travel front and rear and at the back end the 10Hz system offers an additional 15mm travel through the elastomer system. This aims to dampen smaller impacts which are too small to activate the rear shock at the start of suspension travel. Corractec claims that the patented system offers a noticeable increase in comfort and traction.
The name of the bike already lets us know that the in-house suspension system is used. The virtual pivot point design ensures that chain tension activates the rear shock providing efficient handling.
In the top version the bike comes with the proven X1 11 speed drivetrain, SRAM Guide brakes and a RockShox suspension system based around the Pike RCT3 fork and the Monarch RT3 rear shock. Continental Der Kaiser 2.4 Project tyres are fitted to the Sun Ringlé wheels and the proven RockShox Reverb Stealth seatpost holds the saddle.
The InsideLink 10Hz 175 should be available from March 2016 and prices start at € 3799, the top model shown here will set you back € 4799.
