With an impressive background of having made bikes for thirty years, US company Jamis have just released this, their first 650b+ sized hardtail bike. It’s aimed directly at the Adventure riding market, with some very interesting features focused more on the big adventure rider than plain XC. We check it out to bring you all the highlights of this bike.

The Dragon Slayer comes with a frame constructed of Wei Hai Endo Superlight 4130 triple butted chromoly steel. An exceptional and unusual feature of this stunning new frame is the use of adjustable length dropouts to change the bikes wheelbase for different terrain.

The key features of the Dragon Slayer are rear-carrier eyelets, 2x or single-speed ability, full internal cable routing, 100mm or rear wheel clearance and three bolt hole bottle mount for larger luggage carrying. The large 3″ Bombolini tyres are claimed to fit easily to the massive 45mm wide rims with the use of a normal pump too!
