Arenas de San Pedro (Ávila – Spain) was where the first event for this new Enduro Championship took place and aims to cover the Enduro riders demands around the centre of Spain.

The track itself did exceed riders expectations, with 31 kms and 1,400 metre climb that may not seem a lot, but the close links that Endurama designed for this race pushed them hard.

A combination of perfect surface grip and good weather conditions attracted riders from all over Europe (Portugal, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain…) that enjoyed the amazing tracks that Arenas de San Pedro offers to Enduro riders, with the general feeling that “Arenas has to be a MUST for a Spanish Enduro destination”.

Sprint pedalling and technical passes known as “El tranco” in stage 4 brought lots of fun to the riders and supporters, with speed and pace the main characteristics for the 4 stages, making sure everybody had to put all of their skills to work to get the best times.

The event closed with one of top Enduro riders in Spain and Canyon Spain Team pro rider, Eduardo Cuesta, who finished on the podium with 17´29″583. José Antonio Díez Arriola (Santa Cruz-Ltm Racing) came in second and Joseba León (Bike Zona) finishing third.
