Live: We have THE first Enduro World Series Winner!

Today we wrote (rode) history! Today we have been looking for the first ever Enduro World Series Winner and we found him: Fabien Barel! This podium is just amazing with riders from Downhill, 4X and Enduro on the podium! It has happend: All mountain bikers compete in one discipline again! THIS IS ENDURO!

It was a hard and long day for all the riders on the 50km-loop!Luckily sun was out and no rain, which meant nearly same conditions for everybody!
On stage 3 in the rock section we have seen everything: gnarly riding, impressive lines, crashes and Al Stock riding on his rim. On the same stage one of the podium contenders, Nico Vouilloz, got a flat tire! Cube Action Team member Nico Lau crashed as well and lost too much time and his chances to be on today’s podium!

Most of the top guys have finished the race and these are the provisional results. The organizers are still working!

The first ever Enduro World Series winner Fab and Superenduro organizer Enrico Guala!

Fab and Jared Graves!

The current ranking:
-
1.Fabien Barel (Canyon)
-
2.Jerome Clementz (Cannondale)
-
3.Jared Graves (Yeti/Fox)

In second position: Jerome Clementz – talking with EWS manager Chris Ball!

All-rounder: Cedric Gracia!

Steve Peat: Time for some beers! His first enduro race was the Enduro World Series – he didn’t expect it to have so much pedaling, but he’ll make sure to be better prepared for the next races
What about the girls? Still to be confirmed but…
