News | JAKROO Custom Enters the Mountain Bike Scene

Adding to its extensive custom endurance wear lineup, Jakroo launches the Rally MTB Short to mark the company’s first custom baggy short. The Rally aims to be an excellent mid-weight overshort ideal for Enduro racing and all day trail adventures. Paired with the Ridgeline MTB jersey (available in long, short, and ¾ sleeve lengths), the Rally short allows Jakroo to offer a complete kit to the gravity oriented, off-road rider.

Jakroo has been producing custom clothing for endurance athletes since 2009 across North America. The announcement of the Rally MTB Short is their official entry into the mountain bike market. The trail bike market has been steadily growing, as has the Enduro racing scene. Jakroo aims to meet this growth with a product that fills a niche for teams and individuals that are looking to create their own apparel. “The influx of more teams and athletes looking to represent sponsors, shops, or individual style has created a need for custom gear options that make sense for the trail/Enduro segment,” says Jakroo Marketing Manager, Tsering Alleyne.

The Rally is constructed of breathable, yet robust, CFX-Shell fabric. The pattern has sublimated side panels on each leg, as well as accents on the back of each leg to allow for customization. A fully sublimated version is in development for even greater customization. Through the development process, a number of technical features have been incorporated into the short for superior versatility and functionality. These features include: an elastic and Velcro waist-retention system, zippered rear pockets, and belt loops.
