The MagLOCK Bike Pedal Kickstarter has launched! Clipping in when you are out on the trails can cause big problems, but with it’s revolutionary design using magnets instead of classic springs, this should be solved! Now the founders want you to invest in the project to get the production started. Read on to find out more!

Your bike, your rules! - mit magnetischen Pedalen soll das sicher und einfach werden.
Your bike, your rules! – with magnetically clipping bike pedals that make clipping in and out safe and easy.

The MAGLOCK Bike Pedal is a revolutionary design that utilizes strong neodymium magnets to “clip” the rider’s shoe to the pedal. Unlike current mechanically-clipping pedals, when a rider with MAGLOCK pedals is falling over, the natural twisting of his feet will cause his feet to automatically release. No more bloody gashes from falling onto sharp rocks.

Die Magie hinter den MagLOCK Pedalen: 10 Magnete unter der Stahlabdeckung.
The magic behind the MagLOCK pedals: 10 magnets under the steelcover.

But this is not the only benefit of the MAGLOCK Bike Pedal. It is also easy to use because the attractive forces between the pedal and shoe causes the foot to automatically clip in. No more pain of strenuously moving your foot over the pedal to find the clip. This is especially useful when starting on a steep uphill incline, where quick clipping is needed.

SPD-kompatible Stahlplatten stellen die Verbindung zum Bike sicher.
SPD compatible steel-plates make sure you keep connected to your bike.

This technology is appreciated by all riders. Beginner and intermediate riders just switching over to mechanically-clipping pedals for the first time are comforted by the easy clipping and safe release. Advanced riders can rest assured that, in those moments when their bike decides to go flying off the trail, they will stay behind.
