The first breaking news from EUROBIKE is that SRAM have announced their new X-SYNC-Chainrings, featuring the well-known technology at much more affordable price. Here’s all the details in the official press release:

The SRAM X-SYNC™ STEEL 1x chainrings are the perfect replacement ring for the cost conscious with added durability of steel. The same SRAM X-SYNC™ technology at a price well below competitors’ imitation “narrow wide” rings. Best performing chainrings at the best price.

SRAM X-Sync ring

The chainring is made from steel with black finish and features the established X-Sync Narrow-Wide technology. It is compatible with all SRAM 1x cranks (DM and 94BCD), except for the 28-tooth version that is not compatible with 30 mm-ranks that require a 0 mm offset ring. To keep the warranty, it must also be used with a SRAM chain. The price is $19.99 per ring (all sizes), and they will be available in these sizes: 28-tooth (DM, 6mm offset only), 30-tooth (94BCD only), 32-tooth (94BCD only).
