Everyone was hoping for the fairy-tale finish, an Irish man on the podium, but nobody dared wish that would be the case. There were so many big names that Greg Callaghan would have to slay some serious giants. But like David to the EWS Goliaths, the strong Irishman pulled through to take the win and the crowd just went mental! There will be sure to be a new public holiday in honour of ‘Callaghan Day’!
