News | Welsh National Enduro Champs head to Mid-Wales
23rd-25th May 2015 will see the Welsh National Enduro Championships head to the Crychan and Irfon Forests in Mid-Wales.
As round three of the 2015 Mondraker Enduro series, the Welsh National Champs will take in some of the very best riding spots that the area has to offer with new sections of downhill being carved out for the big event.
The Mondraker Enduro series will comprise five rounds and will take place between March and October. All rounds are Wales based with Coed Trallwm, Nant-yr-Arian and Baskerville Hall in Herefordshire all hosting an event alongside the National Champs in the Crychan and Irfon Forests.
The series, and the Welsh National Champs sponsored by Mondraker, are very much aimed at the serious trail rider with increased technical challenges as well as more corners, drops and fast rooty sections than in the 2014 series.
All series events are professionally timed using a transponder system accurate to within one thousandth of a second and are fully supported with well equipped feed stations, bike wash facilities, full first aid cover and technical back up.
Mondraker bikes are a welcome addition to the 2015 series with their race proven trail and Enduro bikes taking the world by storm under some of the fastest riders on the planet.
Entry for each round of the series is limited to 350 riders and prices are £50 for both days or £35 for one day. Apart from the Welsh National Champs, each round offers one day and two-day competitions to choose from. The Welsh National Champs sponsored by Mondraker is two day only.
So, if being a National Champion has always been on your riding ‘bucket list’ this could be your chance. Get yourself down to Mid-Wales this May, get your game face on and ride your hardest. It will be the most fun you’ll have on a bike this year and you could just walk away with a Welsh National Champion’s jersey.
