Timo Pritzel is best known in the mtb world as a freeride and dirt jump legend, but now it seems he has found a new skill set as a yoga teacher! The following words are directly from the organizers:

Free rider turned yoga teacher!

Everyone knows Timo Pritzel as a legend in the world of biking, but who knows Timo as a yoga teacher!? Massa Vecchia and the famous rider organized together the event called “Yoga for Bikers”:

“…it has been a long time ago that I was planning to come to Massa Vecchia. I met Ernesto Hutmacher, the founder of Massa Vecchia, for the first time twelve years ago at the Bikedays in Solothurn/SUI. I had right away a good feeling chatting with him – he is a special person. He invited me to visit his place, but I never had the time to make it. My schedule with races, events and trips took a lot of time away from me.”

The location was perfect.

“After so many years after the first chat we finally met again and pooled our ideas together. We thought about combining biking and yoga to be held in a single event in Massa Vecchia at the beginning of their season. “Yoga for Bikers” was born! An excellent opportunity for lovers of the sport, nature and whoever enjoys passing the time in a beautiful surrounding with healthy and tasty food and just ten minutes away from the seaside and the beautiful beaches. For me, this is the perfect occasion to see this amazing place. Massa Vecchia is magical! It is perfectly built for bikers and those who want to relax. We are already planning to go ahead with this project. The hotel has the perfect quality for all requested needs. At the end of our first trial, everyone was stoked about redoing it!”

This event requires no special experience necessary to ride a bike or doing yoga. Everyone is welcome to participate in this week. Timo is both a great rider and a smart yoga teacher. So isn’t so hard grow up in both of the sport at the end of the classes. Every guest will be given a nice welcome kit from the two partners involved in the event as a sponsor of Timo and Massa Vecchia: TSG and Life Food.

Massa Vecchia is already famous for its widespread trails and the 2000 m² pump track built by Velosolutions. The ultimate mixture of Tuscany… nothing else needed. Upcoming events of “Yoga for Bikers” will be soon published on the homepage of Massa Vecchia. Stay tuned!!
