News | YT Industries CAPRA AL 2016 Models Introduced
In Issue #17 we reviewed the Capra and found it to have awesome downhill capabilities, now YT have announced that for 2016 there will be a new entry level aluminium model and the price tag got us very excited! The words below come directly from YT:
Update January 2016: The YT CAPRA CF has also been launched.
With a fresh look and updated components such as the brand new RockShox Lyrik on the Comp 1, the Goat is once again ready to do its Alpha-mountain-animal reputation
justice. Already a seasoned fighter, the critically acclaimed and often prized enduro is coming out swinging and ready for round 2.
The Capra attracted a lot of attention since it was launched. First came the carbon version in 2014, which was not only discussed and tested at length but also many times the recipient of prestigious titles and awards. This “universal weapon” from YT was among other designated “Enduro Bike of the Year”, impressing riders with its all-round capabilities: excellent climbing manners and maximum shred factor downhill are no longer mutually exclusive, thanks to the CAPRA’s unique geometry. Good reason for YT to continue with the winning formula: a gravity-oriented interpretation of the enduro segment.
