The new Orange Alpine 6 is available in four builds for 2019, starting at £4000 for the Pro build and topping out at £6500 for the pricey yet drool-worthy XTR spec.

The Orange Alpine 6 Pro

The most affordable Alpine 6 build currently offered features the same Halifax made aluminium frame as other models, kitted out with workhorse componentry. FOX takes care of the suspension with their Performance 36 fork and DPX2 Performance shock. The drivetrain is a mix of SRAM NX and GX Eagle and Shimano SLX brakes provide the stopping power.

The Orange Alpine 6 RS

An extra £950 gets you a Rockshox Lyrik RC2 upfront, a combination of SRAM X01 and GX Eagle drivetrain as well as a Rockshox Reverb and SRAM Guide RE brakes. The wheels are taken care of by Race Face and their Arc 30 rims and Hope provide their Pro 4 hubs.

The Orange Alpine 6 XTR

The top of the range Alpine 6 costs an eye-watering £6500 and is reserved for those with deep pockets. As the name suggests the XTR build is fitted with full Shimano XTR 12 speed bling and FOX Factory suspension and Transfer dropper.
