“I can’t, I’m not allowed, I shouldn’t…” – seriously, this is old news. The change is too risky, the route too hard, the political correctness too correct. Keep on the safe side of the fence if you prefer, but there’s only one thing that’s for sure: times are changing – a damn sight quicker than ever before.
As time moves on, so do our fleeting concepts, visions, and dreams. A lot is changing with the launch of this issue too: nope, afraid we’re not heading into lad-mag territory, and we’ll keep our distance from conceptual art. We’re talking about you, us, our future and what we’d like to be.
This issue is therefore about dreams, both childhood and adult ones. Seeing as it’s the hallowed Issue #018, it’s time to celebrate our coming-of-age, prompting us to do things that everyone wants to do, but rarely dares to:
Inside the mag we’ll lose our virginity, fly to Copacabana, as well as get hold of the absolute sickest bikes and sexiest cars; we make love and hope that our kids become addicts. Sounds crazy? Well, yeah, pretty much! There are also stories on super-slick shaved Scottish legs as well as a beerduro in the area with the world’s highest density of breweries. Find out where that is!
Sounds wild? Maybe it is. But that’s no reason not to do it. “I can’t, I’m not allowed, I shouldn’t…” is not our credo. Only if you try out the new, can you win (or at least experience). We believe in change. More than ever before.
Have tons of fun reading our birthday issue. Keep it easy,
