Since the winter in Switzerland seems to be never ending this year, we decided to finally kick off the 2013 season by heading south to the beautiful Tuscany in Italy. One week full of epic trails, endless pumptrack sessions, warm temperatures and of course, delicious food.
Rudy Biedermann, shredding an very unique spot where a fire burnt down quite a big part of the forest.Tiny streets full of picturesque litte cafes define the town of Massa Marittima. Our new Scott Genius 700 Trailbikes, running on 650B wheels, are the absolute weapon of choice for the very deiverse Trails of the Tuscany.This “desert-mountain”-like spot made for a perfect playground. That means lots of fun splashing around on the trails but also being covered in mud every dayWe all felt like little kids playing in a sandbox in this spot. Everyone was discovering different lines all over the place.A beautiful pumptrack, barbeque-area, beach-volley field, swimming pool and a vast network of trails in the surroundings. The Massa Vecchia Biking resort has all u can ask for!The diversity of the Tuscan trails is incredible. From flowy, lush forest ground to technical rock-sections, theres just everything to be had there
