Pivot Cycles expands presence in Europe with bigger demo fleet

Pivot Cycles is setting up its own German/European operation and Mohawk’s Cycles of France will cover warehousing and fulfilment to German and Austrian dealers during this transition. Pivot Cycle’s European demo fleet has added the new Switchblade and the new Firebird to their fleet and increased the number of demonstration dates and locations. Pivot Cycles is in the process of setting up their own European operation in Germany to support dealers in Germany and Austria, as well as distributors throughout the European Union. This structure will allow much quicker delivery to distributors, dealers and as a result to customers throughout Europe. More information in the official press release below:

In order to ensure that German and Austrian dealers are able to continue to sell Pivot products while the new Pivot operation is being set-up, Mohawk’s Cycles, the current Pivot distributor for France, will supply product to German and Austrian dealers.

“Mohawk’s Cycles already offers incredibly high levels of customer service, technical assistance and sales support to our dealers in France” said Daniel Limburg, Pivot’s Global Sales Manager. “Now Mohawk’s Cycles will offer the same quality of service and responsiveness to our dealers and riders in Germany and Austria through this transition to our own operation.”
Pivot Cycles has already hired the rep group ‘Your People’ to cover the South of Germany, with more rep groups to be added shortly.

Pivot Cycles’ European demo fleet has also expanded the European calendar to support rider demand.

“We know that riding a Pivot Cycles bike is a big part of understanding the technical advantages of our designs. Additional dates will make it even easier for riders to try a Pivot,” said Volker Knaus, Pivot’s European demo fleet manager. “We look forward to seeing riders at events around Europe this summer and autumn.”
