WHISTLER, BC – January 15, 2013 – Crankworx Les 2 Alpes has entered into a partnership with Cannondale Bicycles for the Les 2 Alpes Enduro. The Cannondale Les 2 Alpes Enduro will be an Enduro World Series stop that takes place at the festival July 6 and 7, 2013. Crankworx Les 2 Alpes will take place from July 6-14.
“We are thrilled about Cannondale’s support for both Crankworx Les 2 Alpes and for our stop for the Enduro World Series,” says Sebastion Chovet, Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Event Manager. “Les 2 Alpes has hosted Enduro races for years and the Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Enduro will help mark the global entry of the discipline while opening registrations to anyone who wants to compete.”
The addition of an Enduro World Series date at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes will attract a roster of high level athletes comparable to what has been seen in the freeride and downhill disciplines at Crankworx events over the past ten years. Cannondale’s Jerome Clementz, Mark Weir and many other high profile Enduro athletes are expected to compete on July 6 & 7 as they work to earn valuable points towards the overall Enduro World Series title.
