Race: Inca Avalanche 2014 in Peru
The 2014 Inca Avalanche presented by Kenda will host world renowned freeriders, enduro racers and adventure seekers April 26th-27th 2014 at this epic mass start downhill race, held in Ollantaytambo, Peru.
Set in the midst of the stunning Andes mountains, an ancient Inca culture and of course Machu Picchu, there is no question that the Inca Avalanche is more than just another race, it is a life experience! Up to 200 riders from over 13 countries will start at 15,000 feet in altitude and race to the finish line 5000 feet below. The race course has been described by many as “one of the best trails ever”. The post-race award ceremony features a jump jam and fills the town square with locals and tourists alike. It is no wonder why year after year, riders of all disciplines flock to the ancient city of Ollantaytambo, Peru for the epic riding, huge mountains, rich culture and of course the event itself.
