With 400 riders on the track and the win going to the national title holder, Nicolas Prudencio (Giant) the 4th round of the National Championship “Santa Cruz Montenbaik Enduro by MTBLab 2014” returned to the Valparaiso Region after seven months.

In the only visit of the season to the Canela area, the 36 kilometers track in Puchuncaví offered a beautiful and complex scenery for the four special stages, that totaled 1,750 meters of descent.

“I’m very happy. I’ve never won here. The race was super hard, With a lot of pedaling, and steep and technical downhills ” said Prudencio, who recorded the time of 21:13.25, in the Elite Category followed by Pedro Ferreira (21:41.54) and then Milciades Jaque (22:08.37).

In the Junior series, the Chilean monarch Pedro Burns won again (22:27.88), with good lead over José Tomás Vial (23:56.73) and Nicolas Vidal Acuña (26:02.06).

Meanwhile, the winners of the women’s groups Florencia Espiñeira (Elite Women) and former motorcycle racer of the Dakar Rally, Josefina Gardulski (Ladies Light).

The other winners of the day Were: Master A, Juan Guillermo Hagn; in Master B, Felipe Vásquez; in Promotional, Jorge Verdugo; Promo Master A, Vicente Rivera; Promo Master B, Cristian Saavedra; Promo Master C, Juan Jose Valverde; Rigid and John Plaza.
