One of the highlights of the Urge 1001 Enduro series is the Enduro Giant Portes du Mercantour race.
The two day event is based in Valberg as well as in Guillaumes. 400 bikers decided to compete against each other on five stages in the Guillaumes valley. The winners of the five stages are Cure, Barelli, Lapeyrie, Nicolai, and Quéré. The total winner François Bailly- Maitre was a split second ahead of Yoann Barelli, who became second. SCOTT SR Suntour Enduro Team’s Thomas Lapeyrie became third. Looking at the girl’s stages, one could cheer for Isabeau Courdurier, Axelle Murigneux and Nadine Sapin on the podium.
