Remy Absalon signs with SCOTT Sports
SCOTT boosts its Enduro Line Up with the addition of French superstar and multiple Megavalanche winner Remy Absalon.
Enduro star Remy Absalon has just signed a three year contract with SCOTT Sports. Remy, well-known as “Mr. Downhill Marathon,” will race the new Genius LT 700 Tuned for his SCOTT SR Suntour Enduro Team on the Enduro World Series (EWS) circuit and in other major Enduro races.
“After nine years with Commencal, I needed a new challenge and a new experience. I wanted to build another project with a cool brand with a good spirit, a good enduro bike for sure and a brand which was the stuff of dreams – SCOTT was naturally the solution,” says Remy, brother of 2x Olympic Champion Julien Absalon.
SCOTT Sports has been involved in the Enduro scene for years, mainly with a solid French rider line up. However, adding Remy Absalon is taking this involvement to a new level.
“Enduro has progressed immensely through the years and now even belongs to the established UCI racing disciplines. Having been in the Enduro discipline from the early days with the release of the original SCOTT Ransom, sponsoring a top international like Remy strengthens our brand presence in this segment,” says Lionel Girardin, Senior Marketing Manager of SCOTT. “Now with the Genius LT 700 we are again at the forefront of technical development. Remy racing it gives the bike a rider who will show its podium winning qualities.”
