In today’s racing, both Anne Caroline Chausson and Manu Ducci were riding on a new prototype bike from Ibis. Both riders were keeping the bikes under-wraps, but they could not hide as they took to the start ramps. With no information from Ibis, all we can do now is speculate, but it is clear that Ibis have boosted the mud clearance and the bike is of course running on 27.5″ wheels. Also, looking at the new linkage arrangement, the travel looks to be longer than the current 650b HDR, and while the distinctive Ibis shape is still there, it is a certainly a fresh new look.
