Spotted: New Shimano Deore XT 650B wheels 2014 (WH-M785)
Shimano Deore XT goes 650B! After the new Deore XT 650B wheels were announced earlier this year, we now got our hands on some pictures of the final wheelset: Berg Cycles factory rider Marco Fidalgo rides the new XT wheels in his 650B Enduro bike.
Front wheel WH-M785 for 15mm thru axle:
24 spokes (2,0-1,5-2,0) – Alloy nipples
Alloy rim
+/- 806 grams without axle
Rear weel WH-M785 for 12mm thru axle:
24 spokes (2,0-1,5-2,0) – Alloy nipples
Alloy rim
+/-999 grams without axle
Total weight of the Deore XT 650B wheelset is +/- 1805g.
