During the Canyon presscamp in France, we spotted a brand-new backpack on the backs of the Ergon-sponsored team riders. Here are the first details of this intresting, race-specific backpack.

The backpack was developed after feedback from the Canyon Factory Enduro Team: On most races, they wished for an smaller backpack than the Ergon BA3.

Injured, but still in a good mood, Fabien Barel presented us with his backpack prototype. The idea: Reduction to the essentials, less weight and a low center of gravity.

The backpack is divided into two parts: Tools and snacks in the upper section, and the hydration bladder below.

When racing with both a fullface and an open helmet, a secure fit of the helmet on the backpack is essential. The new, divided design is intended to exactly ensure this.
