Nico Lau – CUBE Stereo 140 C68 29 Action Team

CUBE Action Team have stepped up to 29″ wheels and we watched Nico Lau ride to third place on his CUBE Stereo 140 C68 29 Action Team model, securing 5th overall in the 2016 ESW. According to head mechanic Jan, Nico’s bike weighs in around 13.5 kg inc. bottle cage and pedals.

This XTR Di2 rear mech is still a prototype, but it’s hard to see any obvious distinguishing features to the current model. However, we’ve been told there’s a stronger spring and axle inside so its shifting performance is improved under extreme conditions.
