CamelBak’s Quick Stow Flask is anything but a conventional drinking bottle and is also not compatible with any of the conventional bottle holders. Still it’s the best alternative for those who can’t attach a bottle holder to their bike because of an incompatible frame geometry but still want to go out riding without carrying a backpack.

And that’s why it’s not included in our comparison test. Still we think it deserves a mention. The Quick Stow Flask is a super flexible mini bladder with a bite-valve and capacity of 500 ml. It easily fits into the back pocket of your jersey or in your SWAT bib-short pockets.

Once the bladder is completely empty you can roll it up and conveniently stuff it in your pocket. A classic CamelBak silicon mouthpiece makes drinking easy. Alongside the Quick Stow Flask CamelBak also offers a Podium Chill version. This has the same capacity but is made from an insulating material that allows you to keep your cold drinks cooler for a longer time and hot brews warmer on winter rides. It’s also a little bit bigger.
