Leatt DBX-3.0-Helme

Sporting Leatt’s 360 Turbines technology, the latest DBX 3.0 helmets have taken their own protection levels to the next level, proclaiming that the latest generation is even kinder to the rider’s head in the event of crashing. Ten ‘Turbines’ made of Armourgel are strategically positioned between the EPS shell and the rider’s head. These react and harden to the force of vertical impact while simultaneously cushioning against horizontal rotational forces. Leatt claim there’s up to 40% reduction in rotational forces when compared to traditional helmets, and up to 30% more cushioning with gentle hits, which could still cause trauma to the rider’s head. The ‘Turbines’ are also capable of dealing with multi-impacts. The design also features 18 air vents, the Fidlock magnet closure, a break-away visor and washable padding. The DBX 3.0 All Mountain is marketed as a lightweight open-facer with a low rear. For enduro riders, there’s also a model with a removable chin guard.

The new Leatt DBX 3.0 helmet can be purchased with or without the removable chin guard.
